Meet Louise – Owner of Groomtime Dog Grooming
Hello, I’m Louise Hargreaves, the extremely proud owner of Groomtime Dog Grooming.
I’m Lancashire born and bred, and for the past two years I’ve been lucky enough to call Whalley my home. I’m a mum to my beautiful daughter Harriet, and a devoted dog mum to our lively cockapoo, Betty.
Betty is a true little explorer and the friendliest girl you’ll ever meet! She absolutely loves meeting new people, so if you spot us out and about on a walk in the local area, please don’t be shy—we’d love for you to say hello.
When I’m not out walking Betty, I’m living my dream career as a professional dog groomer. Having always had a lifelong passion for dogs, I decided in 2025 to follow that dream and open my very own friendly, welcoming, and professional grooming salon—and I couldn’t be happier that I did.
At Groomtime, every dog is treated with the same love and care as if they were my own, and my goal is always to make sure your furry friend leaves looking and feeling their very best.

We know that every dog has their own unique health needs, temperament, and little quirks. That’s why we provide a free consultation before every groom.
This allows us to assess your dog’s general health, coat condition, and grooming needs, and ensure we fully understand what will make the experience as comfortable & positive as possible.
To support your dog’s ongoing care, we create a personalized record card that is securely stored in line with the latest GDPR guidelines.
After every visit, we update this record so we always have the most up-to-date picture of yours dogs health, wellbeing, and grooming requirements. This way you can always feel confident that your furry friend is always in safe and caring hands.
